Il progetto fotografico, nasce nei luoghi dove linee invisibili e immaginarie, separano due condizioni dalle differenze impercettibili.
È proprio in questi luoghi ai margini, è nata l'idea di dare forma fotografica alle diverse declinazioni della parola confine, e non solo per ciò che riguarda il significato geografico del termine.
La parola inglese Border[line], riassume questa ricerca, racchiudendo in se la possibile chiave di lettura che accomuna paesaggio ed essere umano, entrambi attraversati da confini, barriere e limiti spesso invisibili ma allo stesso tempo invalicabili.

This project was conceived in places where invisible, imaginary lines separate two conditions made of imperceptible differences. It is in these marginal places that the idea of giving photographic shape to all the various meanings of the word border (not only its geographic meaning) was born.
The English term borderline summarizes  this research, as it brings forward a key to an interpretation where landscape and human being are bonded, both crossed by their own borders, boundaries and limits, often invisible but nonetheless insurmountable.
